FAQ
URA stands for Unofficial ReBoot Awards. They are a set of awards designed to be presented to members of the online ReBoot community who have excelled in the fields of web page creation, fan fiction writing, art creation, music video making, and the like. This has been a yearly tradition since the year 2000.
The URAs always liven up the online ReBoot community for a few months. They always renew interest in the show, and they serve as a unifying factor for members of the online community.
Over the month of January, nominations will be taken. That means that you members of the ReBoot community can nominate the people you feel most worthy of winning awards in our categories. The nominations are sorted, and then are placed in a voting ballot, which is placed on the site in February. You will then have 30 days to vote for the sites you want to win. Be sure to read the rules on the voting page when the time comes. After the votes are in, we'll count them and in March we'll have a big awards ceremony for the winners; we'll also give out some judges' awards at this time.
You can nominate people you think should be in the running for awards. Then, you can vote on who you think should win the awards. But first, you can start by reading the rules.
Nominating/Voting
-Please do NOT send in more than one nomination and vote ballot. If anyone is suspected of doing this, their votes will be withdrawn. Please do not make the simple task of vote counting into something painful.
-Like last year, you may nominate up to two contenders in each category.
-One person (artist, writer, webmaster) may have multiple works nominated for the same category.
-The nominations in the following categories must be recent - i.e. they must have been created in the past two years:

-Once the voting period starts, you may only vote for one contender per category. You cannot vote for a nominee who is not on the final ballot.
-Committee members are allowed to be nominated, and they are allowed to vote.
-You may nominate and/or vote for yourself.

How can I find people to nominate?
ReBoot at Cyberpursuits has a very concise list of ReBoot links, as well as of fan fiction archives. FanFiction.Net has an extensive collection of ReBoot fan fiction, as do some web site fanfic archives, such as Julia Cat's ReBoot Corner, ReBoot Mayhem, and The Website With No Name. You can also look to the URA 2004 Forum for people who have plugged their work.
See the credits page of the award ceremony.
