BOB: The heroesque main character. Is a guardian and is fabled to be dorky. RB: 1

BS'n'P: Mainframe's censoring company, also known as Broadcasters Standards and Practices. RB: 1

BULA: The 'princess' onboard the Saucy Mare; one of Captain Capacitor's crew. RB: 1

CGI: Mainframe equivalent of the FBI. RB: 3

CHAOS VIRUS: Virus that uses its insanity and power more than its brute strength. Example: Hexadecimal. RB: 1

CHRON VIRUS: Virus who is programmed to infect the Net at a specific time. RB: 4

CLOCKSPEED: Speed. RB: 1

CODEMASTER: A powerful guilded guru of the known Net, as well as the Web. Widely feared. RB: 2

COMPILE: Grow, as in compile up (grow up). Also, to live. RB: 1

COMMAND-DOT-COM: Mayor of a city or system. RB: 1

COPLAND: Tubo's keytool. RB: 3

CORE: The energy source for the system of Mainframe; resides within the Principal Office; contains radioactivity. RB: 1

CORE-COM: Heart. FF: Julia-Cat

CORE CONTROL CHAMBER: Room from which one can safely control the Core. RB: 3

CPU: Also known as Convertable Persuit Unit, this car belongs to Mainframe's police force. RB: 1

CRIMSON BINOME: Also known as Captain Gavin Capacitor, this pirate sails The Saucy Mare, stealing software from systems. RB: 1

CURSORS AND CRASHES: Swear phrase, curse, exclamation. RB: 1

DAECON: Daemon's primary henchman. RB: 4

DAEMON: A chron super-virus who wants to infect the entire Net, to unite it. RB: 3+4

DAISY WHEELS: Flower with white petals and a gold center, like computer-generated dasies. RB: 1

DATA: Water. FF: RoeBoot

DATA DUMP: The Mainframe dump; all sorts of exotic and dangerous things can be found here. RB: 1

DATA NULLY: CGI agent reminiscent of Dana Scully. RB: 2

DELETE: Die; also: Erase, Offline, Quit File, Quit without saving. RB: 1 (mostly, from Enzo)

DIPSWITCH: Insulting term equivalent to calling somebody an idiot. ("Alright, you dipswitches!") RB: 1

DIXON GREEN: Also known as 'Dixie,' she was Bob's supervisor before he became a guardian. RB: 4

DOT MATRIX: Organized female Sprite, runs many businesses. RB: 1

DOWNTIME: Sleep, rest. FF: RoeBoot

EIGHT-BALL APARTMENTS: Bob's apartment building; Bob lives on the top floor. RB: 1

EIGHT-BIT: Low-quality image rendering in Enzo the Smart. ("Dude! Everything's gone eight-bit!") RB: 1

ENERGY SHAKE: Like a soft drink; replenishes energy. RB: 1

ENZO MATRIX: Dot Matrix's hyperactive little brother. RB: 1

ERASE: To be deleted; to die. RB: 1

FAX MODEM: CGI agent reminiscent of Fox Mulder. RB: 2

FEATHERS MCGRAW: The penguin from Wallace and Gromit really seems to get around. He is seen in random scenes throughout the series. RB: ALL

FILE LOCK: Force field that holds prisoners in stasis. RB: 1

FLOATING POINT: A floating sector of Mainframe - it's mainly made up of a giant park and golf course. RB: 1

FRISKET: A junk-yard-type dog who doesn't realy belong to anyone. RB: 1

G-PRIME: Also knowm as Ghetty Prime, this sector is home to Megabyte's Silicon Tor. RB: 1

GAME: A life-or-death situation for Mainframers; they must beat the User and win the game or be nullified. RB: 1

GAME CUBE: The form a Game takes as it drops from the sky and lands in a sector of the system. RB: 1

GAME SPRITE: A Sprite that lives in a Game, whose function it is either to help or destroy the User. RB: 2

GATEWAY COMMAND: Ancient doorway that can be used to create a portal to another system. RB: 1

GIBSON-COIL PIKE: The powerful weapon of a Codemaster. Is made up of two segments that snap together to charge the pike. RB: 2

GIGABYTE: Class 5 virus that resulted from Megabyte's and Hexadecimal's merging. RB: 2

GLITCH: Bob's keytool. RB: 1

GLITCH-BOB: Dot's term for Bob after he had merged with Glitch. RB: 4

GUARDIAN: A Sprite whose format it is to Mend and Defend. RB: 1

GUARDIAN ACADEMY: School to which a Sprite who wants to be a Guardian must go. RB: 3

GUN: Matrix's name for his gun; it functions with Matrix's cybernetic eye. RB: 3

HACK: The red robot henchman. RB: 1

HERR DOKTOR: Megabyte's German mad scientist assistant. RB: 3

HEXADECIMAL: Chaotic female virus who resides on Lost Angles. Very powerful. RB: 1

HIDDEN FILE COMMAND: Makes target invisible. RB: 1

I

ICON: A yin-yang-like circle worn by all. Contains personal information. RB: 1

INFECTION: The way in which a virus 'possesses' a victim to make it do what the virus wants. RB: 1

INITIALIZE: Born; also, start. FF: Julia_Cat

INTERFACE: Bob's alias while he was in the Web. RB: 3

I/O SHOT: Alcoholic beverage. RB: 3

JAGGIES: Nervous condition caused by fear or anxiety. (The Creeps) RB: 1

K

KEYTOOL: A do-it-all guardian accessory. Is a sentient being that exchanges code with its guardian. RB: 1

KILOBYTE: Megabyte's original form, before he upgraded to Megabyte. RB: 4

KITS: The port sector of Mainframe, and the place where Bob's apartment is located. RB: 1

L

LEECH COMMAND: Device used by Megabyte to drain game energy in order to generate a portal to the Supercomputer. RB: 2

LEVEL 31: This sector is deep in the bowels of Mainframe, and is the most dangerous place in the system. RB: 1

LOST ANGLES: A small island off Mainframe, and home of chaos virus Hexadecimal. All that is left of the Twin City. RB: 1

LOW DENSITY: Degrading term akin to "stupid" ("That is so low-density!"). RB: 1

M

MAINFRAME: The city (system) in which our characters live. RB: 1

MATRIX: The "bigger brother format" of Enzo and Dot. RB: 3

MAXINE: Silver female search engine who makes a cameo appearence. Is seen in Ridefilms. RB: 3

MEGABYTE: Big bad blue virus. Tries to take over Mainframe and the Super Computer. RB: 1

MERGE: To join or fuse with another being. (e.g. Bob merge with Glitch.) RB: 2

MICROSECOND: Mainframe equivalent of an hour. ("They should have been home microseconds ago!") RB: 1

MINUTE: Mainframe equivalent of a month. ("I haven;t had this much fun in minutes!") RB: 1

MIKE THE TV: Bob's annoying talking television, whose remote control ran away; can never be turned off. RB: 1

MOUSE: Firey-haired female mercenary who's been double-crossed one too many times. RB: 1

MR. PEARSON: Scottish ex-Codemaster binome who runs Mainframe's Data Dump. RB: 1

N

NANO: Mainframe equivalent of a minute. ("Just a nano, Enzo.") RB: 1

NANOSECOND: Mainframe equivalent of a second. ("You have three nanoseconds to surrender.") RB: 3

NIBBLES: Megabyte's pet null. Is later revealed to be Welman Matrix in Null form. RB: 1

NULL: A kind of slug-like creature created from a person when he or she loses a game. Sucks Sprite energy, much like a leech. RB: 1

NULLIFY: To be turned into a Null. RB: 1

NULLZILLA: Giant monster made entirely of nulls that stomped around Mainframe - was a cocoon that protected Hexadecimal from a Web Creature. RB: 2

OLD MAN PEARSON: see MR. PEARSON

P

PCU: Prisoner Containment Unit; used in the game during The Tiff to hold prisoners in stasis. RB: 1

PHONG: The wise guru-like Sprite in Mainframe. RB: 1

PHOTOSHOP MOMENT: Moment to remember (Kodak moment) RB: 3

PING: A signal sent out into cyberspace to determine whether or not there are other systems around; locks onto energy bursts. RB: 4

PONG: Phong's favorite game one must play to earn his knowledge. RB: 1

PORT AUTHORITY: Where Bob worked in the Super Computer, before coming to Mainframe. RB: 2

PORTAL: Door into another system. RB: 1

PRIMATIVES: Musical group made up of a sphere, square, and triangle, that auditioned for Enzo's birthday party. RB: 1

PRINCIPAL OFFICE: Centre of Mainframe; houses the Core and serves as the system's town hall. RB: 1

PRISM BLOSSOMS: Crystalline flower, rose-like. FF: RoeBoot.

PRIVATE FORMAT: Private. FF: RoeBoot

PROCESS: Happen, as in: What's processing? (What's happening?) RB: 1

PUNCHARD: One of the puppets in the parody of "Punch and Judy" in the background of one of the episodes. RB: 1

QUANTUM SHAKE: A high-energy shake available from Al's Wait and Eat; equivalent of a soft drink. RB: 2

QUIT FILE: Mainframe term equivalent of "give up." RB: 1

QUIT WITHOUT SAVING: Term that means to die. RB: 1

QWERTY: One of the puppets in the parody of "Punch and Judy" in the background of one of the episodes. RB: 1

RANDOM: Crazy, insane. RB: 1

RAY TRACER: Also known as Surfr, is a search engine; his vulnerability is his surfboard. RB: 3

REDUCE AUDIO CLOCKSPEED: Speak more slowly. Usually in reference to Little Enzo.

RETURN COMMAND: Returns subjects to predetermined location. (spell?) RB: 1

ROM: Alcoholic beverage. (RUM) Think: "Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of ROM!" RB: 3

SAUCY MARE: The Crimson Binome's ship. Home to data pirates: the scum of the Net. RB: 1

SCUZZY (SCSI): Hexadecimal's pet mouse/cat. RB: 1

SEARCH ENGINE: The format of Ray Tracer and of Maxine, who surf the Net and the Web. RB: 3

SECTOR: Mainframe is divided into six sections, or sectors: Baudway, Kits, etc. RB: 1

SECOND: Mainframe equivalent of a day. ("You don't have all second, you know!") RB: 1

SHIP: Mouse's name for her ship. RB: 2

SILICON TOR: Megabyte's red and gold tower, and home of Hack and Slash during the first three seasons. RB: 1

SLASH: The blue robot henchman. RB: 1

SPECKY: The bespectacled nerdy binome that works on tech support in the Principal Office. RB: 3

SUPER COMPUTER: The place where Bob came from, where the Guardian Academy is. RB: 1

SYSTEM: Another word for city. RB: 1

TEAR: Balls of unstable, explosive energy that can be made into portals. RB: 1

TIFF: Argument. RB: 1

TROJAN HORSE VIRUS: A virus with shapeshifter abilities; can take on the form of its prey. RB: 4

TURBO: The head Guardian, also called Prime Guardian. Leader of the Guardian collective. RB: 2

TWIN CITY: Mainframe's sister city; destroyed in an experiment gone awry. RB: 2

UNFORMAT COMMAND: Command that serves to destroy a living being such as a Sprite or Binome. Eaten by Frisket in Season 1. RB: 1

USER: Human, the user of the computer (world) the Sprites live in. (us) RB: 1

USERWORLD: The world outside the computer, the domain of the Users. FF: Emidecimal

VIDWINDOW: Communications link that enables you to see the person you're speaking to. RB: 1

VIRAL ERASER: The "primitive" file that Bob tried to use on the Medusa Bug; looks like an ordinary pink eraser. RB: 1

VIRUS: The format of Megabye, Hexadecimal, Gigabyte, Kilobyte, and Daemon. A virus is always a villain. RB: 1

W

WAIT STATE: A figure of speech meaning that someone's waiting for something ("Bob's in a wait state outside"). RB: 1

WALL STREET: The financial sector of Mainframe, characterized by the large towers. RB: 1

WEB: Realm apart from the Net; full of dangerous life-forms and thick data. Reminiscent of Space. RB: 2

WEB CREATURE: Spider-like spore that feeds on energy. RB: 2

WEB RIDER: Degraded Sprites that ride Web Creatures through the Web in troupes. RB: 3

WELMAN MATRIX: Dot's and Enzo's father; a scientist whose experiments to find other systems accidentally caused the destruction of the Twin City. RB: 4
