Welman Matrix is a scientist who once conducted an experiment to see whether there were other systems in the Net. He is also Dot and Enzo's father.

Welman conducted his experment long before ReBoot began. Enzo was still 00 and Dot was in her late teens. Something went awry, and the entire Twin City exploded, nullifying each and every one of its inhabitants.

Welman was the null called Nibbles - Megabyte's pet. The virus was known to call Nibbles "father" once in a while, and with good reason. It can be said that Welman is Megabyte's father, but not in the way one might assume.

From what we know of Welman, he seems to be a good father. He loves his children, and once he gets to know them all over again, is fiercely proud of all they have accomplished, and of how much they've grown. He takes a fatherly role in their lives once again and wishes to protect them from harm.

Welman Matrix is a scientist, and a good, caring father. He wants the best for his children even though he is trapped in a null body. If there is more ReBoot, he will certainly be one of the characters to be developed.
