Whoever coined the phrase "Queen of Chaos" must have known Hexadecimal. Just one look at her home and you'd be saying to yourself, "now that's one strange lady!" Hex lives in Lost Angles, an island in Mainframe. She was born, along with her brother Megabyte, in the explosion that created Lost Angles when an experiment went wrong.

Hex isn't as awful as her "dear brother", Megabyte; although Hex just adores having her fun. She's always delighted to play with the system's paint program and to torment her Nulls. She also torments Bob, the system's Guardian. She fancies him quite a bit, and even though she knows that she can never have him, she still tries her best to seduce him.

Hexadecimal is a very volatile character. She has been known to have severe mood swings and has tried on many occasions to soothe her temper by destroying Megabyte. She has a truly explosive personality.

Hex has a fragmented code, evident by her thousands and thousands of masks which keep her power in check. Without them, she will overload and be destroyed. Each mask represents a particular mood, and Hex changes from one to the next as she sees fit. One can imagine how often this can happen.

Hexadecimal is a chaos virus who can seethe with rage one moment, but be melancholy the next. She adds much chaos to the Mainframers' lives, and often has deadly bouts of sibling rivalry with her brother. Hex is one crazy lady.
