Dot is a multi-faceted character. She is all at once a business-woman, a parent-figure to her younger brother Enzo, and a Command.Com. She holds a great deal of responsibility and influence, and is extremely organized.

Dot lost her parents when she was very young. We know nothing about her mother, but her father, Welman, was a scientist who was nullified along with an entire city when an experiment went horribly wrong. Since that day Dot has had to care for Enzo as if he were her own son.

Bob has been a great help to Dot in bringing up Enzo, however. Bob came to Mainframe the same day Dot's father was nullified, and though they got off to a rocky start, the pair of sprites became fast friends. Though Bob is a constant source of frustration for Dot, she and Bob make an excellent team because of their different ways of handling crises.

Dot is an irrepressible planner. Everything must be perfect, no exceptions. She wants Enzo to do well in school, and she is very successful in running her own business, Dot's Diner. But most of all, she wants everything to run smoothly.

Dot has harboured a fondness for Bob since the early days of ReBoot. Because of their differences, they have grown close over the seasons, but still seem to be having difficulty sorting out their feelings. Dot loves Bob, this much is clear, but she doesn't seem ready for such a big committment when so much else is going on in her life. Maybe once things settle down in Mainframe she'll be more prepared to take the relationship idea seriously...

Dot also shares an interesting friendship with Mouse, who first came to Mainframe to work for Megabyte. Thw two were extremely jealous of each other at first, but they grew close when they realized they had to work together.

Dot has a lot on her shoulders, but without her influence, Enzo would not have been able to cope after his father's nullification. Mainframe would not be the same without her organization and business skills, and ReBoot would not have the same feeling without her.
