Daecon is Daemon's most loyal subject. He is the one in whom she places the utmost trust. He carries out her will. Some may even feel it necessary to call him her knight because he commands her army to do her bidding.

Not much is known about Daecon. It can be assumed that he was once a Guardian, but was turned to the "dark side" early on. Daemon's infection pulses brightly in his temples, and yet he wears no visible icon.

Daecon wants to do nothing but serve his lady, which means that he cannot accept failure from his underlings. He cannot be patient, and he cannot be merciful because he is reporting to Daemon, the Word of the Net, who only gives one chance to her followers. Nonetheless, he reports everything that occurs to Daemon, even if things go badly.

Unfortunately for Daecon, he is done in by his own loyalty. In his insistance to report every detail to Daemon, he admits his own failure. However, he accepts his fate without uttering a word of complaint.

As a character, Daecon is extremely difficult to read. He often seems to be brooding, and his true emotions never come to the surface. He is a total mystery to anyone who wishes to comprehend him.
