Captain Capacitor is better known to citizens of the Net as The Crimson Binome. Called Gavin by his friends, he is captain of the Saucy Mare, a ship of software pirates and looters. He is a fierce old sea-dog who is wise beyond his years, but who never takes "no" for an answer. He'll fight ya to the bitter end, you scurvy dogs! Arr!

Capacitor and his crew came to Mainframe in ReBoot's early days, hoping to scrounge up some good booty. They bit off more than they can chew when they stole Glitch, and Bob along with him. Bob showed the good captain what Mainframers are made of, and Dot got a business partner out of the deal.

Being a pirate, Gavin sees lots of different locations. Thus, he gets lots of life experience. He seems to be the only one who can deliver a good, solid lecture that can tame even Matrix. He loves adventure, especially trips to far-off, unknown places. He was even able to tame the vast, wild expanse known as the Web.

Captain Capacitor has a soft spot for the ladies, as any gallant gentleman should. He is always exceedingly polite with any female, whether she be sprite or binome. He has even been known to call Dot and AndrAIa "M'lady."
