Bob is a Guardian who hails from the Super Computer. The Guardian motto is "To Mend and Defend," and Bob takes pride in doing just that. He is always trying his best to keep Mainframe's enemies at bay. When he's not defending the system, however, Bob can be found either in his garage, fixing his eternally broken 262 convertible, or in Dot's Diner trying to pry Dot Matrix away from her work. Bob lives in Eight-Ball Apartments in Kits Sector, on the top floor. His apartment has everything from a picture of the Super Computer captioned with the phrase "Home, Sweet, Home," to an assembly-line style shower, to a very annoying talking television, Mike the TV. As far as personality types go, Bob enjoys "taking things as they come" and "living on the edge." He is impulsive, and rarely plans anything. If he does plan anything, it's usually by accident. He has an ideal personality for a defender of the system because of his ability to improvise. If something goes awry, Bob has to think of something. Fast. This sort of attitude has been known to get him in trouble with Dot, though. Their personalities clash most of the time, especially when Bob gets in trouble for taking Dot's little brother, Enzo Matrix, into Games with him. Bob does this because he seems to feel that Enzo is good enough at Games that he can learn new skills by playing them. Bob quickly became Enzo's hero because of his fun-loving nature, much to Dot's disapproval. Bob and Dot work well as a team because of their personality differences. When problems arise, Dot covers the planning and Bob works things through as he goes along, so they actually end up catching whomever they're up against off-guard. Bob's relationship with Dot is nothing short of complicated. They started out as friends who had the occasional TIFF because of their personality differences. However, through many trials and tribulations, one thing led to another, and sooner rather than later, Bob found himself smitten. It took him a long time to admit his true feelings to both himself and Dot, and even after both had expressed their love problems arose. Though he has a strong tendency to be a complete dork, Bob, Guardian 452, is a strong central character. His flaws make him human (well... you know what I mean), and his quirks make him the lovable sprite he is. |
